Carport construction begins with a site survey and GPR, followed by the 811/Dig Alert. The foundation team drills and pours concrete foundations, after which ironworkers offload steel on-site. Columns are set and leveled with precision, while crossbeams are rigged and secured to the columns using heavy-duty bolts. Purlin mounting brackets are installed, and purlin cassettes are prepared for module installation, ensuring all torquing meets strict requirements. Modules are mounted onto the purlin cassettes using stainless steel hardware and Weeb® grounding washers. Finally, ironworkers lift the purlin/module cassettes into place, connect them to the beams, install blocking and bracing, and conclude by applying non-shrink grout below the columns and installing end caps on all canopies.
